Pre-care instructions
- Ensure hair is the size of a grain of rice, approximately half an inch long for Brazilian waxing.
- Exfoliate the waxing area 24 hours before your appointment using a scrub.
- Take ibuprofen or Advil one hour before your service to ease discomfort.
- Discontinue all forms of exfoliation one week before your scheduled service, especially on the face and brows.
- Avoid using retinol, Tretinoin, or Vitamin A products leading up to your appointment.
Post-care instructions
- Avoid UV light exposure for at least 48 hours.
- Do not use hot water on the waxed area.
- Avoid steam, pools, hot tubs, or large bodies of water for 24 hours.
- Refrain from sweating or exercising for the first 24 hours after waxing.
- Wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent irritation.
- After 72 hours, exfoliate the waxed area 3-4 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs and bumps.
